Engines of Renault Logan Car
Two engines have been slated for use in the Renault Logan, both are sourced from Renault’s own lineup. As Renault Logan is a small car with a small asking price, the engines fitted are small: a 1.4 liter with 75 horsepower and 83 lb-ft of torque, and a 1.6 liter with 90 horsepower and 95 lb-ft of torque.
The smaller engine of Renault Logan is good for a 13 second 0-100 km/h time, topping out at 162 km/h, while the larger engine is more brisk, taking 11.5 seconds to reach 100 km/h before toping out at 175 km/h.
Because the Renault Logan is intended for sale around the world, in places where the fuel quality is not particularly great, it has been reworked to accept lower quality fuel. Despite this hitch, the Renault Logan can still meet Euro4 emissions standards.
